Notes: 651 words. I wrote this way back for a prompt that existed somewhere, then put it away and recently came back to it. Another take on a common Kirk/Sulu theme, i.e. the lingering emotions after the fall from the drill on Vulcan.
Summary: Jim always wanted to talk about it, as if Hikaru didn't know the truth.
( Hikaru had thought it was always about glory with Jim. )
